Jendayi Setorie-Collingwood

JENDAYI SETORIE-COLLINGWOOD began her relationship with movement at Caribbean Dance School in the fall of 1991. She decided to take the next step in her journey as a dancer by attending Virginia Commonwealth University, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance & Choreography.

After completing her studies, Jendayi returned home to St. Croix, where she teaches Modern, Jazz, Afro-Caribbean and Dance Foundations while helping to shape the next generation of Virgin Islands dancers. Her work combines a passion for dance education, choreography, and preserving the rich cultural traditions of the U.S. Virgin Islands through the performing arts.
